For example, this information (server logfiles) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and similar. This is only information which cannot be used to trace you as a person.

This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of websites requested by you and is required when using the Internet. It is processed for the following purposes in particular:

  • Ensuring a problem-free connection to the website
  • Ensuring seamless use of our website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest in the above-mentioned purposes for the data collection. We do not use your data in order to trace you as a person. The recipients of the data are only the responsible body and, if applicable, the order processor.

Anonymous information of this type may be statistically evaluated by us, in order to optimise our Internet presence and the associated technology.

Cookies

As with many other websites, we also use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files which are transferred to your hard drive by a website server. By means of these, we automatically receive certain data, such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to start programmes or transfer viruses onto a computer. On the basis of the information contained in the cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable our websites to be displayed correctly.

Under no circumstances will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or be connected to personal data without your consent.

It goes without saying that you can generally use our website without cookies. Internet browsers are automatically set to receive cookies. Generally, you can de-activate the use of cookies at any time by means of your browser settings. Please use the help function of your Internet browser to find out how to alter these settings. Please bear in mind that individual functions of our website may not work, if you have de-activated the use of cookies.

SSL encryption

In order to protect the security of your data during transfer, we use encryption procedures (for example SSL) via HTTPS which correspond to the current state of technology.

Contact form

If you get in touch with us by email or the contact form in case of any type of query, you give us your voluntary consent to be contacted. For this purpose, you need to provide a valid email address. This serves the purpose of assigning the enquiry and responding to it. The provision of other data is optional. The information provided by you will be saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up queries. Once your enquiry has been dealt with, the personal data will be automatically deleted.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (hereinafter: “Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information concerning your use of this website, which is generated by the cookie, is, as a rule, transferred to a Google server in the US and saved there. In case of the activation of the IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address is, however, shortened in advance by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other Member States of the European Economic Area Treaty. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator connected to the use of the website and the use of the Internet. The IP address transferred by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data by Google.

The purposes of the data processing are the evaluation of the use of the website and the creation of reports concerning activities on the website. On the basis of the use of the website and the Internet, further associated services will be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You can prevent the saving of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in such a case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. In addition, you can prevent the recording of the data which is recorded by the cookie and which relates to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin which is available via the following link: Browser add on to de-activate Google Analytics.

In addition to or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent the tracking by Google Analytics on our sites by clicking on this link:

Disable Google Analytics

In such a case, an opt-out cookie is stored on your device. By means of this, the recording by Google Analytics is prevented for this website and this browser in the future for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to correctly display our content on all browsers and to make it graphically attractive, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to the cache of your browser in order to prevent multiple loading. Should the browser not support Google Webfonts or should it prevent the access, content will be shown in a standard font.

The accessing of script libraries or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the operator of the library. In theory, it is possible that operators of such libraries collect data, but it is currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes.

The data protection notice of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API, in order to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, data concerning visitors to the website is also collected, processed and used by Google by means of the use of the map function. More detailed information concerning the data processing by Google can be found in the data protection notices of Google. In the data protection centre, you can also alter your personal data protection settings.
Detailed instructions concerning the administration of your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Social plugins

Social plugins of the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognise the plugins from the relevant logos.

Via these plugins, in certain cases information (which may also include personal data) is sent to the service operator and may be used by it. We prevent the unknown and unwanted recording and transfer of data to the operator by means of a two-click solution. In order to activate a requested social plug-in, this first needs to be activated by clicking on a corresponding button. Only once the plug-in is activated can information be recorded and transferred to the service provider. We ourselves do not use any personal data by means of the plugins or their use.

We have no control over what data is recorded by an activated plug-in and how this is used by the provider. Currently, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the services of the provider will be established and at least the IP address and device related information will be recorded and used. It is also possible that the service providers will attempt to save cookies on the computer which is being used. Please consult the data protection notice of the respective service provider in order to find out what concrete data is recorded during this process and how it is used. Note: If you are logged on to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a specific page.

We have integrated the social medial buttons of the following companies on our website: Facebook

We reserve the right to adjust this data protection declaration, so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, for example in case of the introduction of new services. Next time you visit, the new data protection declaration will then apply.
