In particular, owners who want to sell in the near future will receive a realistic assessment of their property through an appraisal. Valuation reports are also useful for inheritance and marital disputes, as well as for problems with the tax office, according to the Association of Private Builders (VPB).
What is being checked?
For the market value appraisal, the experts analyze the structural substance and clarify whether there are loads on the property, such as residential, leasehold or usufruct rights, but also construction burdens that can reduce the market value of the property. According to the VPB, the fees for a 300,000 euro property are around one percent of it. However, if you only want to know how much your own property is worth, you can also consult a belly expert or a real estate expert.
