Decorate your own home
Within their own apartment, tenants and owners may decorate as much as they like. Against discreet jewelry in the windows and on the balcony or in the garden is normally nothing wrong. It becomes problematic when neighbors z. B. feel disturbed by flashes. In general: Christmas lights should be switched off between 22 and 6 o'clock. Attention: The facade is not part of the rental property - if the owner is bothered by the climbing Santa Claus, this must be removed.
Decorating community property
It looks quite different with community property, this includes z. B. the hallway, cellar and storage rooms. If a resident is disturbed by the decoration, set up candles or even used fragrance sprays, this disturbance must be avoided or removed. Advent wreaths, which are attached to their own apartment door, but neighbors must tolerate. Christmas decorations must not hinder escape routes or pose a fire hazard - in the event of damage, the person who installed the decoration is liable.
